Colorless Quartz is a great material for beginning faceters. It is excellent for cutting large, flawless faceted stones, or for making doublets.

We have two grades of Colorless Optical Quartz:
"A" Grade: may have a few veils or fractures near the surface, but is mostly flawless. It will cut large flawless stones.

"B" Grade: has some minor veils or fractures that should easily cut out. This material will still cut large, flawless stones.
